Who?

I’m Jeff Ledoux. Designer, self-proclaimed evangelist, community builder, gadget head, gear junky, swimmer, etc. I’ve been around the web for a little over 10 years now and am currently freelancing my way through life (although I am available for full-time work, see below).

Timeline:

1981 - Arrival.
1983 - Adopted.
1998 - Netscape Composer introduced me to the web. Geocities was my home.
1999 - Started to become much more web savvy. Opened my first site based on the Lord of the Rings movies.
2000 - Started developing LoTR Online a community portal and forum for LoTR Movie Fans.
2001 - LoTR Online grows in popularity. First web design clients obtained.
2002 - LoTR Online becomes a fulltime job along with college.
2003 - Redesign #4 for LoTR Online, freelance design work keeps coming in.
2004 - Full time job at AAA Southern New England in their graphic design/marketing Department
2005 - LoTR Online becomes the The Fantasy Forum and is sold shortly there after.
2006 - Freelance design and work at AAA Southern New England
2007 - Moved to Boulder, CO, Community Team Member at Me.dium.com, opened Leisure Creative, LLC.
2008 - Community Director at Battlemouth.com, Freelance Designer/Evangelist/Community Builder…

What?

This site runs on the WordPress platform. Some photoshop, a lot of CSS. Hosting provided by Media Temple Grid Service.

When?

The site has been live since August 19th 2008

Where?

Jeff currently resides in Cumberland, Rhode Island

Why?

Yes, I help run another blog (Battlemouth) but I felt the need to have my own site up and running. A place where I can talk about things not necessarily relevant to Battlemouth’s topics.
